Logan Sargeant became the first-ever American driver to win in F2 after claiming a Feature Race victory at Silverstone.
Sargeant produced an excellent performance in the Feature Race. The Carlin driver started from pole and led from start-to-finish, Holding off Théo Pourchaire to claim his first victory in F2. The 21-year-old is in his first-full season in F2 and has now claimed three podiums in 2022. Sargeant is a member of the Williams Racing Driver Academy and looks set to have a big future in motorsport if he continues his winning ways.
