First female to test a modern F1® car in almost five years Jessica Hawkins becomes the first female F1® test driver in five years.

The 28-year-old drove 26 laps in the AMR21 for Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1@ Team at the Hungaroring to achieve the milestone. She becomes the first woman to testa
modern car in the sport since Tatiana Calderón in 2018. A former British karting champion and W Series competitor, Hawkins was testing the car ahead of supporting Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F18 Team's entry into the all-female F1@ Academy series next year.
